Today, whether for personal reasons or to prolong their professional lives, more and more men are opting for cosmetic surgery. Last year alone more than 10% of cosmetic surgery patients were men according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Procedures, such as eyelid surgeries or facelifts, once reserved for women who longed to extend their youthful appearance, are now routinely performed on men with dramatic results. Men also frequently choose non-surgical options such as BOTOX® or fillers to lessen wrinkles and convey an air of youth, which in turn builds their self confidence. As men are living longer and maintaining a higher quality of life well into their middle years and beyond, they are asking to look as young and vibrant as they feel. As a result of surgery and/or other procedures, our male patients often report feeling younger, more attractive and successful.
